The Fitbit Sense 2 is by far the company’s most capable fitness-tracking smartwatch. First, the smartwatch can measure and monitor users’ ECG, resting heart rate, and heart rate variability, providing notifications for high and low heart rates. For keeping track of blood oxygen levels, the device also has a SpO2 sensor. Then there’s a skin temperature sensor for detecting a sudden spike in body temperatures.
Fitbit Sense 2 also uses a comprehensive algorithm to keep track of users’ stress levels and offers mindfulness sessions right from the wrist to help them relax. To keep tabs on sleep stages and scores, the Fitbit app has several in-built insights that help users understand their sleeping patterns. The smartwatch also provides a daily readiness score, built-in GPS, 40+ exercise modes, general steps/distance counter, and a cardio fitness score.
As a typical smartwatch, Fitbit Sense 2 provides call, text, and app notifications, on-wrist Bluetooth calls, support for voice assistants, an always-on display mode, and over six days of battery life. The device is also water-resistant up to 50 meters. The Fitbit Sense 2 is compatible with Android and iOS devices.
