What Happens in Episode 3 of Firefighter Daigo: Rescuer in Orange?

Episode 3 begins with the completion of the final rescue training task. The students get scolded for swapping masks, but their thoughtfulness is appreciated. The students then go on to graduate and complete the Special Rescue Crops training. Daigo gets selected by the Special Rescue Corps as soon as he completes his training and 6 months later Shun is selected.

The episode also reveals the reason Shun applied to be a firefighter. It reveals a promise made to Yuki back in school days as he saw a firefighter on her lock screen and wished to date her.
