Heartstopper – Season 2

The hit teen series based on the graphic novel series by Alice Oseman returns for its second season. As well as charting the growing relationship between Nick (Kit Connor) and Charlie (Joe Locke), Season 2 will also focus on Tao and Elle as they try to work out if they can be more than just friends.

Here’s the official synopsis:

“Nick and Charlie navigate their new relationship; Tara and Darcy face unforeseen challenges and Tao and Elle work out if they can ever be more than just friends. The Hunt For Veerappan

Netflix’s new docuseries follows the rise and fall of Veerappan, a dreaded smuggler whose bloody reign sparked a 20-year-long manhunt in South India. As per reports, this bandit was wanted for killing approximately 184 people and poaching more than 2000 elephants for their ivory.

Zombieverse – Season 1
\n
In this South Korean reality series, a variety of entertainers are thrust into the heart of Seoul amidst a zombie apocalypse where they must work together in order to survive the undead that are all around them.

Actress Lee Si Young (Sweet Home), comedian Park Na Rae, and rapper Kim Cheol are among the celebrities trying not to get eaten.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021)
\n
This enjoyable continuation of the Ghostbusters franchise isn’t quite as good as the movies that preceded it but it’s an entertaining piece of nostalgia all the same. It’s also a worthy tribute to the late Harold Ramis who makes an unexpected comeback towards the end of the film.

This Taiwanese comedy about a same-sex relationship has an unusual twist: one-half of the couple is a ghost! The other is a homophobic police officer who forms a special bond with this spirit of a man whose life was cut short under mysterious circumstances.

Painkiller – Limited Series
\n
The causes and consequences of America’s opioid epidemic unfold in this new limited series from the producers of Narcos and Patriots Day. Uzo Aduba, Matthew Broderick, and Taylor Kitsch are among the cast of this drama that exposes the roots of the most pressing health epidemic in the 21st century.
